What can I say? Monki its where I celebrate my 60th Birthday! With great food and nice stuff! My Birthday Lunch was full of joy! My friends and family and I enjoyed our celebration ! Great Food!!!!! The best in Calgary 🎉

We had such a wonderful experience at Monki Bistro in Calgary as travelers from out of the city! The food was delicious, but the amazing service is what really made our visit stand out. The team made us feel so welcome and comfortable, and their friendliness added so much to the experience. There’s something special about going somewhere and feeling that the people working there genuinely care about you having a great time. The staff were kind, attentive, and approachable. We really appreciated the care they put into looking after us and the warm energy they brought to the restaurant. That kind of hospitality makes a meal feel so much more memorable, and the team deserves recognition for it. They gave us every reason to want to come back. The food was a wonderful part of the experience too! The eggs Benedict on a flaky croissant with creamy hollandaise were delicious, and the crispy breakfast potatoes were the perfect side. The iced coffee topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle was such a treat. Everything was beautifully presented, and the cozy atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy our time there. A huge thank you to the Monki Bistro team for making our visit so enjoyable. Great food is always appreciated, but warm, thoughtful service is what leaves a lasting impression. We would happily return and recommend this spot to anyone looking for a lovely brunch experience in Calgary!

Had a really lovely breakfast at Monki! Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The food was flavorful without being too heavy, and the service was warm and friendly. Such a cozy place with a great vibe—definitely a spot I’d love to visit again. Highly recommend! ☕️🍳❤️

We sat out on the patio, great fall day- the brisket hash was incredible and our server, Maya took our breakfast to the next level. Amazing spot with spectacular service and wonderful food! Check it out!!

We enjoyed our meals! A lot of love was put in during preparation in the kitchen. We could hear the chefs/cooks and they seemed to be happy at work. Customer service could’ve been better from our server but overall, we enjoyed it!

We stopped by Monki Cafe a few days ago while wandering around Calgary and were pleasantly surprised by how cozy the whole spot felt. My husband got the avocado toast and I had a latte, both were done just right and came out fast even though it was a busy Saturday morning. The staff behind the counter were friendly and even gave us tips on other things to see nearby, which we appreciated as tourists. We ended up lingering over coffee for almost an hour just people watching through the big front window, and it was a lovely little break in our day.

I have been here a few times, and I have consistently enjoyed excellent food, service, and atmosphere.

I had the Waffocado, the portions were generous, served with syrup on the side. The waffle is slightly sweet. This is a quaint bistro seating style, there is only one separate table/ booth. Intimate setting. Bathrooms are clean, but constricted. Not wheelchair accessible. Appreciated the staff being accommodating to my needs. Thank you.

Such a lovely brunch spot. The space is small but cozy, and the staff are really friendly. I ordered the brisket poutine and fruit waffle, and both were so good. I especially liked that the whipped cream on the waffle wasn’t too sweet. Definitely recommend

Fabulous food with a wife selection, and topped off with brilliant staff

This was our first visit to Monkie in beltline and it knocked it out if the park. I had the shakshuka which is a veggie stew kind of and my hubby had the beef brisket hash. Amazing !!! Half way thru our meal we noticed a reverse French toast on a neighboring table and since it looked so delicious we just needed to try it for desert . It was decadent . 100 stars out of 10. Wl

We always have a great time at Monki, it’s our favourite place to go for brunch. Food and coffee always hit the spot, service is always fantastic. It can be busy on a weekend so just be aware of that if your planning to go for brunch as it’s a small spot, but worth it!
