Our original Beltline breakfast club is located along the southwest corner of Downtown Calgary on 10th Ave SW right across from Community Natural Foods. Upon coming here, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast in one of Calgary’s oldest heritage buildings! The building’s unique red brick character and artsy surrounds will have you feeling warm & right at home. We are excited to share our building with the Banbury Lane Design Center, one of Calgary’s premier home hardware boutiques.
Having been consistently voted the best neighbourhood in Calgary, the Beltline hub boasts numerous artisan boutiques, specialist local supermarkets as well as trendy cafes, bars & restaurants. In addition, the community is just a few blocks away from the trendy Kensington district located just across the Bow River.
Parking
Despite being at the periphery of downtown Calgary, parking is surprisingly easy to find here! Public parking is available throughout 10th avenue and 12 street SW at modest rates of $1.50 per hour on weekdays and just $0.50 per hour on Saturdays! Furthermore, unrestricted FREE parking is available just a few blocks away on 14th avenue SW.
If you didn’t know, we have bike racks located right in front of our establishment on 10th Avenue SW! Monki loves cyclists!
Planning Your Brunch Visit
Our Beltline-Calgary breakfast club was showcased on Food Network Canada’s Big Food Bucket List on Season 1 Episode 8 ‘For the Love of Brunch’. Being small albeit incredibly cozy, the breakfast club does tend to have a wait on the weekends. However, you can skip the wait & ‘Get in Line’ virtually on your phone. We will then simply notify you on when to make your way! We aren’t accepting reservations right now due to our limited seating but we do have our large,spacious&kid friendly Inglewood location!
Be it a weekend family outing or a quick catchup before shopping, a fulfilling brunch at our iconic Beltline spot is sure to make your day better!

Small spot, but that’s what makes it so quaint! We had two Benny’s - brisket and bacon. Both were delicious! And we were lucky to have Riley as our server - she was awesome, and just attentive enough.

Went for brunch today. loved it! I got the bacon eggs Benedict, the tomato’s on it were 10/10. The staff were all so nice and gave amazing service, food came out quick, short wait to get in but for such a small space that is expected without a reservation. I will definitely be back!

Super delicious and high quality-nutritious breakfast spot!It was clear all ingredients were freshly prepared and high quality. Everything tied together perfectly. Doneness on point. The braised beef Benedict was mouthwatering. Hollandaise had a beautiful spice to it which added the perfect richness to the dishes.The salted caramel latte is a must!Highly recommend for a hearty Albertan breakfast 🍳Be sure to add yourself to the waitlist before going here, seating capacity is minimal!

My mom took me here because it's her favourite breakfast place and I can see why! The staff are very warm, welcoming, and friendly. They delivered quick service and great recommendations.I ordered the seasonal eggnog latte, I enjoyed it, but I'm also not picky about my coffee. We also got the brisket skillet and brisket eggs Benny. The hollandaise sauce is really good, has a nice kick! And the monki hash is so crispy!Special shout out to our server, Riley. Thanks for starting our day out on a positive, high note!

Maya was my server. Her service was outstanding, very friendly and made me feel welcome. I was craving eggs Benedict on a cold morning and I ordered the bacon one and it was delicious… You can tell the hollandaise sauce was from scratch and the bacon was thick cut. I did also order a side of pancakes, but I had to take it to go because my breakfast order was more filling than I thought it would be. Prompt service and a cosy little spot. Adding a photo of the candy cane hot chocolate Maya recommended!

Super friendly service- all the staff were so kind and pleasant- Geraldine was our server and she was great. The location is small but it makes it cozy and you can actually have a friendly convo with the staff. I tried the spiced caramel latter so yummy. The food is delicious like always. I had the monki avocado toast and my husband the full monki- so flavorful.

The food was good and very filling. Coffee was good too. Aside from the food, good drinks–especially coffee– is important for us.We were a big group and as soon as we arrived they moved quick to make all 7 of us sit together given the layout of the place. We were handed menus and served water as soon as we sat down. The staff were kind and accommodating, our main server was very attentive, brought is water when we ran out, assisted us with our needs (I can’t remember her name but I knew it started with the letter A lol) Also, one of them Virginia (or Valeria, if I remember it right) even was nursing a migraine but still was friendly and warm toward us. She even shared recommended places to visit around town they were very helpful and gave us great tips esp. for ease of parking around town.

It was my first time having brunch there and I loved my experience! Service was great and food super fresh. It was rich and flavour and these were one of the best potatoes I ever tried in my 35 years on this planet 😀 Crunchy on the outside and perfectly soft inside. Highly recommend this spot!

Enjoyed breakfast with my wife, I think i had some sort of brisket hash bowl. A staff favorite, it was amazing. Very tasty. Probably best breakfast dish I ever had in a breakfast place. I normally never enjoy eating out for breakfast so that was nice. Had a small problem but was taken care of by the staff, good service, good rectification, problems occur it's how you handle it that matters. Would go again

First breakfast joint i decided to try on my vacation and it was lovely, from Amelias friendly Service to the delicious food. The pancake tacos were perfect and flavors were balanced well. Showed up at 11:45 on a Saturday and had no wait. The service was quick and personable, thank you Miller. The food was tasty, eggs done perfectly, the beef while succulent had a missing flavor factor in regards to the different sauces.

Such an awesome place to eat breakfast! The staff are fantastic and the food is incredible. Perfect portion sizes and we were super impressed with the kid's breakfast. Our server, Miller, was so kind to the toddler in our group. Provided her with crayons and paper and hung her artwork up on the patio. Can't recommend this place enough.

Amazing place. Very organized, precise and delicious. Its like sushi precision and skill doing breakfast. We ate at all the big breakfast chains in Calgary (which were really good) but Monki beat them all. Unique and original menu. Dont miss it.
