I made the mistake of joining the waitlist at the wrong location. They were still super accommodating and friendly about it. Great food. We got the brisket hash, waffocado toast and splurged on the Dubai chocolate French toast. Brisket hash was a favorite and the waffocado toast was perfectly seasoned. The French toast wasn't overly sweet which is what we like. We just felt the filling was a little too much. Maybe just a little less filling would be perfect.Can't overlook the staff. They were all very friendly and smiley!!

We love Monki. The Greenwich location is a great one as they have the full menu vs the 10th ave location. Love all the food! If you look around the restaurant, you can see empty plates everywhere… a good indicator or quality and flavour

It was more expensive than an average breakfast place but the food was served fast, hot and very tasty, good portion but not crazy. The atmosphere was warm and cozy on a chilly Sunday morning. By 10 it was completely full of people but not obnoxiously loud. The decor is comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive. We got coffees to go and boxes for our leftovers. We thought the high quality warrants the high price and will be back on special occasions.

Had such an amazing brunch experience! From the moment we walked in, the hostess, made us feel so welcome. She was friendly, professional, and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. You can really tell she enjoys what she does, such a great vibe to start the day with!The food was incredible, everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The presentation was beautiful, and you can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. Definitely one of the best brunch spots I’ve been to in a while. Can’t wait to come back and bring friends!

Our book club met at Monki Seton and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast this past weekend. We made a reservation, our server was friendly and efficient, the food was delicious and great atmosphere. We could easily chat and enjoy our food.

Don’t get the shakshuka. It was busy so I felt bad complaining but my shakshuka was practically a soup (see second photo for the liquid left after I’d already drank some throughout the meal). I expected a rich and thick sauce but I needed to ask for a spoon to eat it and it made my bread soggy really quickly. The soft poached egg was a bit wasted because the yolk just disintegrated into the sauce turning it pale, but I didn’t get to enjoy the richness it would normally have lent to an already thick sauce.The rest of the food I saw looked delicious I was surprised to have been given what I was. Service was otherwise good and the environment was lovely.ETA the management staff was very quick to respond and issued a gift card to come back and try something different, which I am likely to do.

We’ve been to Monki’s at Inglewood and 10th avenue downtown, and this new location by Seton is a surprise. Hash browns was a surprise hit, crispy on the outside and soft and mushy on the inside 🙂 I had the full monki and the name represented itself for sure, I was really FULL with craving satiated by the time I was done. Service was amazing as well. Will definitely come back!
